Children’s zoo
In the children’s zoo, humans and animals meet up close. The dwarf goat enclosure in the children’s zoo can be accessed via a ladder. Guests are also allowed to pet the goats. However, this can sometimes be too much for the animals. In this case, the dwarf goats can retreat to their climbing rock and keep a little distance from the visitors.

Depending on the time of day, the dwarf donkeys and minipigs also roam the entire children’s zoo among the guests. Every now and then they stop curiously and then trot on. The animals in the children’s zoo are used to the proximity of the guests, but here too respectful behaviour towards the animals has top priority.

Our Lewitzer ponies, an old pony breed from eastern Germany, need demanding activities. Full of joy, they regularly pull the carriage with guests through the Dählhölzli forest.
