Owl aviary

“More space for the eagle owl and snowy owl” was realised in a large, walk-in aviary with many additional opportunities for guests to experience. A natural habitat with forest and rocks for the eagle owl and the barren tundra with a stream for the snowy owl extend over 750 m2 of floor space. Through camera views of the nesting sites, visitors gain new insights into the lives of the two owl species. The woven, black stainless steel net envelops the up to 10 m high flight space like a transparent veil and allows the trees to grow through the ceiling.
