Welcome to the Eulen Bistro

Enjoyment in the sense of culinary delight, sustainability and regionality are not empty words for the zoo. Whenever possible, the products used come from the city or the canton of Bern or are produced by the creative Mund’Art team themselves. Of course, vegetarian and vegan dishes are also part of the menu. On the sun terrace, with a view over the entire Dählhölzli Zoo, zoo guests can enjoy food and drink.

Mund’Art – our Eulen Bistro Team introduces itself

“Mund’Art has settled down. In our young, wild days, we were allowed to provide culinary accompaniment for weddings on the highest Alps, horse races on the most beautiful lakes, birthdays in the deepest forests or corporate events in the biggest cities in Switzerland. We were not too tired to walk service routes of several hundred metres through rough terrain, were not too shy to cook on an open fire. We were happy to realise the most unusual wishes, to create sprawling decorations when needed. We created the most delicious cocktails with mixologists, transformed factory halls into noble restaurants. Now we are a little quieter, but no less lively. We still attach great importance to regional products. We produce what we can ourselves and are looking forward to our home and to you. Because we have found our place and are settling down between wolves and ice foxes. Mund’Art has settled down.”

Your event at the zoo can now be booked as a complete package

Should it be a “wolverine” or “dwarf mouse” aperitif on the terrace of the Eulen Bistro , a “piranha buffet” in the Vivarium or even the “leopard 3-course” in the BearHouse? With a modular system, guests can put together their event from a wide range of culinary offerings in a suitable setting in the zoo or the BearPark. To get them in the right mood, the group can take part in an exciting and fascinating guided tour, during which they can also choose between various thematic focuses.
