At the entrance, wheelchairs for visitors with mobility impairments can be borrowed free of charge at the ticket office for a deposit of CHF 50. These can be reserved for a visit to the zoo by calling +41 31 357 15 15. A wheelchair-accessible toilet is available in the zoo. Accompanying persons of mobility-impaired persons who cannot visit the Bern Animal Park without assistance are admitted free of charge. Most of the zoo is wheelchair accessible.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n                                        <\/div>\n                                      <\/div><div class=\"accordion accordion--bordered\">\n                                        <div class=\"accordion__title-block\" role=\"button\">\n                                            <span class=\"accordion__title\">Arrival for blind and visually impaired people<\/span>\n                                            <span class=\"accordion__close\"><\/span>\n                                        <\/div>\n                                        <div class=\"accordion__text-block\">\n                                            <p><p>You can reach the zoo from the main station, including the walk, in about 20 minutes. The journey time from Bern main station to the stop Bern, Tierpark is about 8 minutes. There is no need to change trains. The zoo is about 700 metres from the stop. The path via Thormannstrasse leads through a short section of forest to the Tierparkweg. Leave the Tierparkweg after about 500 metres to the right. You will come to a metal gate which must be opened by hand. After 200 metres you will reach the entrance with the ticket office. Obstacles are usually easy to recognise.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n                                        <\/div>\n
