Safety regulations in the BearPark<\/h1>\n

The visitors of the BearPark Bern accept the present safety regulations as well as all other rules concerning the safety of the BearPark, in particular the BearPark Ordinance<\/a> of 19.12.2012. The safety regulations are binding for all visitors.<\/p>\n

Visitors’ attention is drawn in particular to the following:<\/p>\n

  1. The instructions of the staff are to be strictly followed. In all other respects, the provisions of the municipal Bear Park Ordinance of 19.12.2012 (as of 01.04.2017) apply.<\/li>\n
  2. The BearPark is a wildlife park in the middle of the city of Bern. Visiting the BearPark is therefore at the visitor’s own responsibility and risk.<\/li>\n
  3. It is strictly forbidden to climb over the safety barriers.<\/li>\n
  4. Children may only enter the BearPark when accompanied by an adult. Children must be supervised by the accompanying adult at all times.<\/li>\n
  5. Children must not be placed on the railings or carried on the shoulders.<\/li>\n
  6. Swimming in the shore area of the BearPark is strictly prohibited.<\/li>\n
  7. The Aare is a dangerous river. Visitors are strongly advised that the current is particularly strong and dangerous in the shore area of the BearPark. The water level can rise rapidly due to thunderstorms or heavy rain in the uplands.<\/li>\n
  8. The river bank of the BearPark can be slippery due to wetness or frost.<\/li>\n
  9. Visitors are required to notify the staff or authorities immediately in the event of an accident.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
