Zoo Community<\/h1>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The wild animals in the zoo are the ambassadors of their endangered relatives in nature. Through active and financial help, but also through education and research, zoos and aquariums make an important contribution to the protection of nature worldwide.<\/p>\n

The Bern Animal Park is a member of numerous associations. Beyond Switzerland, it is part of an international zoo and aquarium community characterised by cooperation. Among other things, the zoo associations are committed to keeping animals at the cutting edge of science, support nature conservation on site (in situ) and form a communication platform for all members to exchange information on relevant topics relating to the animal world.<\/p>\n
